Raj Bhat
Raj is responsible for driving capital management and structuring initiatives within Groundup Advisory with a 25+ year banking and finance career.
Raj has a proven track record in executing structured and often complex transactions across a range of industry sectors and working close with Matt and Anne has arranged capital for large scale social and affordable projects, specialist disability accommodation and advised local and offshore government on housing related matters.
Raj has over 25 years of experience in the banking and capital markets focusing on industry verticals such as Financial Services, Social and Affordable Housing and leveraged buyouts. He has previously a Partner at KPMG where he was involved in advising and structuring transactions for the private sector, government and not for profit organisations across Australia, New Zealand and Singapore. Prior to joining KPMG, Raj spent significant time in the Australian banking sector with roles in ANZ, Westpac and Barclays Capital.
Raj has worked on several complex structured finance projects and brings this core strength to helping clients drive capital management initiatives.
